The Southeast Festivals and Events Association (SFEA) was created to serve the needs of the festivals and events industry in the Southeast United States. Created in 2009, SFEA morphed from a small state group to a regional association with hundreds of members. Their mission is to strengthen, educate and unify the festivals and events industry throughout the Southeast.
This year’s conference will include guest speakers Erin Street, travel editor from Southern Living Magazine and Emily Ellis, Former VP of STAR Culture & Band Training from The Gaylord Entertainment Company. The break out sessions will include: Children’s Entertainment Ideas, Drawing More Visitors to your Event, Volunteer Discussion Panel, Pinterest, PR & Packages, and many more.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to attend the conference,” states Harris. “I think this conference will give me some great networking opportunities with larger festivals, and help find some great ideas to improve Southland Jubilee and the other events in Downtown Greensboro.”
Harris will attend the conference February 18-20 and return with new and festive ideas for the 2013 Downtown Promotions year.
