Greensboro, Ga.(March 7, 2013) – Southland Jubilee planning is underway and the first round of vendor applications have already been submitted. There is still time for vendors to get their applications in before the March 14 deadline.
Each year the streets are filled with unique vendors displaying their handmade arts and crafts, delicious food and fun children’s activities. Over 8,000 festivalgoers shop for one of a kind treasures that can only be found at Southland Jubilee. Past vendors have included handcrafted jewelry makers, candle makers, heritage demonstrators and many more.
The festival prides itself on delivering the best vendors to downtown Greensboro each year and applications are being accepted for those interested in being a part of Southland Jubilee. All vendors must submit an application with pictures of their booth set up or menu to be considered as a Southland Jubilee vendor.
Southland Jubilee encourages arts and crafts, food, children’s activities, heritage demonstrators and local nonprofit vendors to apply to be a part of one of Greensboro’s biggest events of the year. Vendors that are chosen are exposed to thousands of people from across the state of Georgia.
So far Southland Jubilee is pleased to welcome Sophie Shea Design, DJ’s foods, Big Kev’s BBQ, Kountry Kritters and Circle of Friends Animal Society to the 2013 festival as a few of this year’s vendors. In addition to these vendors the Greene County FFA will be promoting their annual plant sale.
The final deadline for all vendor applications is March 14. All applications will be reviewed, and accepted vendors will be notified. Only a limited number of vendors will be invited to participate in this year’s festival so be sure to get your application in early.
