Southland Jubilee is celebrating its 15th year! From 9am-5pm on Saturday, April 20 the streets of downtown Greensboro will be once again filled with thousands of people in search for the perfect arts and craft item, funnel cake and to hear that awesome band live on the Main Stage. Greensboro’s premier event has plans already under way to kick off this celebration.

To acknowledge the importance of this year’s festival, Southland Jubilee has a new look. A new logo was designed reflect the tradition and feel of Greensboro and the significance of the annual festival.

"Southland Jubilee is a great event that brings the community together. This event brings thousands of people to experience what Greensboro has to offer in hopes they will come back to shop and dine in Lake Oconee's Hometown,” said Kendrick Harris, Greensboro Better Hometown Event Coordinator.

At this year’s festival, arts and crafts vendors will line Main Street where many will demonstrate crafts from pottery to basket weaving to the small crowds that gathered to watch.  The Jubilee Car Show featured more than one hundred classic, hot rod, and special interest cars and trucks that stretched for over four blocks, and pony rides and a petting zoo will keep even the youngest visitors to Southland Jubilee entertained.

Agricultural exhibits allow spectators to hold a baby chick, pet a miniature pony or a sheep.  Future Farmers of America (FFA) display and sell plants from their greenhouse at the Greene County High School. 4-H program students can be seen proudly escorting their show calves throughout the festival by leash!

This event has had a significant impact on the local businesses community. It continues to grow with over 8,000 visitors per year.

Southland Jubilee is now accepting vendor applications. Vendor application may be found by visiting www.SouthlandJubilee.com.
